Overview:
Currently a hot tourist destination, Costa Rica is known for its beautiful tropical forests and abundant wildlife. The country is very well educated and boasts a high literacy rate of 95% and a stable democracy. Compared to its Central American neighbors, Costa Rica is well-off. While this country is a tourist magnet for a reason, there are also some significant issues it is dealing with, such as a problem with human trafficking. Just like many other beautiful places in the world, there is much need here for the Good News of Jesus Christ.
