Overview:
A country very familiar with mission teams from the United States, Jamaica is ready to receive you and your team members for a transforming experience of faith. Nestled among the island nations of the Caribbean, it boasts warm tropical weather and beautiful beaches. While a popular tourist destination, Jamaica is also full of much need.

Ministry Description:
Jamaica is open to all sorts of ministry. More than likely, your team will be in a park or school yard, doing puppets, ballooning, face painting and group games. Songs with motions will be used to attract more people as they come to hear the Gospel message you will give through testimonies and Bible stories.

Food and Lodging:
You will be staying with church families or in a hotel or mission guest house near the mission site. While you are there, food will be prepared for you by the local people. The food will consist of food common to the region.

Airport & Transportation:
YMI will arrange all of your transportation during your trip as it is included in the trip cost. Your team will arrive in Kingston.

Visa & Passport:
You will need to possess a passport that will be valid at least 6 months after the date you leave the country. No visa is required to enter the country.

Vaccinations:
Please consult your doctor, local travel clinic and the CDC (Center for Disease Control) website at www.cdc.gov for information on appropriate vaccinations for your country of destination.
