Lead a YMI Team!
Youth Missions International is always looking for qualified adults to lead our mission teams. If you love working with young people, love God, are up for an adventure of faith, and have a passion for sharing Jesus with others, you may want to consider leading a YMI Team.
These teams consist of individual youth from across the country who have a desire to share their faith in Christ with others. When you apply and are accepted, you will be offered a trip to lead and attend a Training Camp where you will go through a leader training and training with your team. This five-day process is a great time for you to bond with your team and understand how to work together with them in ministry.
In order to apply to lead a team, you:
- Need to be at least 23 and know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
- Should be able to lead youth and devotions for the team.
- Can be a married couple or apply as an individual and be placed on a leadership team of 3 adults.
- Fill out and turn in a YMI Leader Application
- Flying to Training Camp is on us! If you need to fly to a Training Camp we will pay for your airfare.
- Break on trip support amount for leaders! Each leadership team will have one free member going on the trip. If you are a married couple, you will only need to pay for one person. If you are a team of three, each person needs to raise 2/3 of the support amount.
- We have 10-14 day international trip opportunities and one-week trips within the United States.
