How old do I need to be to go on a Music Mission Program?
As of right now, the only opportunities we have are for college students, so you need to be in the age range from High School Graduate to 24 years old.

After I sign up, what's next?
You will be contacted by two YMI representatives who will conduct a phone interview with you. You will be contacted shortly after to let you know if you have been selected.
What happens after I'm selected?
If you're selected, you will receive a packet of information telling you what country you will be going to, who is on your team, and what missionary you will be serving with. You will also be told how much you need to fund raise for the trip. Then, it will be up to you to start your preparation.
Why do I need to audition?
Auditions are required for every individual interested in participation. They are required so that YMI can place you where you will be most effective. Auditions will not be used to eliminate candidates. They are used for the sole purpose of placing team members together so that teams will be the most effective at whatever ministry they do.
What is my $50 for?
The non-refundable $50 application fee covers the cost of the training that YMI will give your team.
Do Music Mission Trips with YMI just go to Brazil?
For next summer, the only opportunities we are able to offer are in Brazil. However, we are looking to expand our opportunities very soon, so stay tuned for more locations where Music Mission Trips could go.
