Brian Hughes, President
One of the co-founders of Youth Missions International, Brian was a youth pastor for eight years. He has a BA in Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University and a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Brian has been involved in short-term mission trips since he went on his first trip to Venezuela in 1998 as a youth. Since then, he has participated as a team member on mission trips to Ireland and inner-city Pasadena and led eight youth mission trips across the United States and internationally. Brian trained and sent teams with Awana's Missionary-In-Training Program for three years, including leading a team to Brazil before helping form YMI. Brian enjoys baseball, soccer, football, good guitar music, and seeing God at work in different cultures around the world.

Becky Keough - Team Care Coordinator
Becky has been involved with Youth Missions International since its beginning, first as kitchen staff at training camps, then as a team leader on two international trips. She was involved with Awana's Missionary-In-Training Program, leading a trip to Brazil and several week-long mission trips to places such as Hoquiam, WA, Los Angeles, CA, and Tacoma, WA. Becky has a heart for mission work and loves working with young people to help them reach their full potential in serving God and living out their faith. She is also very involved at her church, Sunrise Baptist. Becky enjoys reading, playing games, cooking, and entertaining guests at her home.

Diane Picha, Director of Development
Diane has been working in the nonprofit sector for 18 years after attending Washington State University. Her experience as a professional in the nonprofit world is helping YMI to become a sustainable ministry well into the future. She has been on five mission trips including Montana, Brooklyn, NY, New Orleans, and Guatemala.

Rose Velasquez, Latin American Missions Specialist
Rose is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. Rose has expansive mission experience. She went on her first international mission trip in 2004 to Bolivia through Awana's MIT program. Since then, she has gone on mission trips to Brazil, Guatemala and Ukraine. In 2008, she was an intern running sports camps in the US and internationally for Uncharted Waters, a sports ministry based in Colorado Springs. Rose enjoys writing, scrapbooking, and photography.

Joseph Keith, Church Relations Director
Joseph has been on mission trips around the world including Ukraine, Israel, Egypt, Canada, and India. Through these experiences God has given him a passion for the world wide church and supporting missions abroad. He has been involved in training mission teams for six years and graduated from The Master's College in Santa Clarita, CA with a B.A. in Bible Exposition. Joseph enjoys the outdoors, studying theology, hanging out with friends, soccer, baseball, football and cricket.

Josie Becker, Sports Ministry Coordinator
Josie is currently a junior at Seattle Pacific University. She is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Math and Education. Josie has been highly involved in mission work since 2005, having gone on two international trips, one US trip, and participated in many US sports camps. She has a heart for mission work and a passion for people. Josie enjoys ultimate frisbee, reading, hiking, and hanging out with friends.

John Stiffler, College Age Director
John is currently a senior at Seattle Pacific University. He is pursuing Bachelor's degrees in Music Performance and Music Education. John has gone on three international trips to South Africa, Ukraine, and Brazil. He's also been involved with numerous ministries in the US. John enjoys following sports, listening to music, and hanging out with friends and family.
