Tier 3

If you're looking for a more challenging step of faith, you should apply for a YMI Tier 3 trip. For these experiences, you will sign up for a training without knowing the location of your trip. This requires a trust in God to send you where He desires to use you. These locations will stretch you beyond where you feel comfortable. You will sign up for a Training Camp where you will be placed on a team of 5-10 youth and 2-3 adult leaders. During the Training Camp you will find out your destination, exact cost, and dates for your trip.

Past Tier 3 trips include a 14-day trip to Ukraine to work with multiple churches in villages along the Black Sea, going to the Philippines to work with a missionary, going to South Africa and leading a Bible camp for children, or traveling to the Amazon Region and run sports clinics while spreading the Gospel in Manuas, Brazil.

You do not need to have completed a Tier 1 or 2 trip to go on a Tier 3.
