YMI Alumni Association
Are you an alumni of a YMI trip? Then you are a member of the YMI Alumni Association. The purpose of the YMI Alumni Association is to promote, enhance and sustain the Organization's mission of making faith active while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at home and around the world by encouraging relationships, financial support, recruitment, and upholding the YMI community in prayer.
Your free Basic Membership includes:
- Alumni Newsletter - An annual newsletter featuring the activities of YMI Alumni around the world will be sent out. Submit your stories to [email protected]
- Exclusive YMI News - Join the YMI Alumni Facebook group and stay connected to other YMI Alumni! Members of the group will also receive exclusive updates, news, and stories before the general public.
- Ministry Counseling - YMI is committed to making faith active in the lives of young people and this activity should extend beyond your experience with YMI. Schedule a meeting with a member of the YMI staff to discuss ministry opportunities with YMI partners, programs for your church and more!
Level One Membership is only a $15/ year donation (that's less than $2 a month) and includes:
- Store Discount - YMI Alumni can receive a 10% discount from our online store. Alumni can show their YMI pride with t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, and more!
- YMI Alumni T-shirt - This exclusive T-shirt is only available to YMI Alumni.
- Discount to our Alumni Conference Retreat- At Camp Casey, WA on April 8-10, 2011, YMI will host its second annual Conference Retreat! Featuring engaging speakers, leadership training, and enriching activities, this retreat will further the spiritual leadership skills you learned at training and on your trip.
With further benefits to come! While we cannot implement all our ideas right now, be on the look-out for more Alumni perks to include:
- Alumni Trips - Once 25 years of age, YMI Alumni are eligible to apply for an Alumni Trip. Locations to include Brazil, South Korea, and many other sites!
- Alumni Banquet - YMI will host an Alumni Banquet in various locations to share about the ministry and allow our alumni to connect with each other and the ministry.
How you can give back as a YMI Alumn:
Volunteer to help at a training camp! We're looking for mission-minded people to help us train more youth to continually live and share their faith.
Be an advocate for YMI. If you enjoyed your experience with YMI, share about it. We want to equip as many youth and churches as possible to reach their communities and the world for Jesus Christ.
Contribute to the YMI Alumni Blog. The Alumni Blog is written by YMI Alumni to inspire and encourage its readers to activate their faith in Christ.
